Infrared Sauna Room Infrared Sauna is one of the most powerful and healing treatments a person can utilize on their journey of health and wellness. Some of the benefits when using a sauna are:
- increase of circulation
- ease of chronic pain
- burns 200-600 calories in 30 minutes
- decreases cellulite
- removal of toxins,
- beneficial to post work out with decreasing lactic acid build up
- clearing skin of acne and other skin problems
The infrared sauna is more powerful than the average sauna. In a regular sauna a person loses 3% toxins while in an infrared sauna a person loses 20% toxins!
Fusions recommends each individual to begin with 15 minute sessions then work their way up to 30 minutes, even if they are accustomed to standard sauna sittings. For best results, remove any lotions and makeup on your skin prior to your sauna session so pores can breathe. It is also advised not to shower immediately after any sauna session, this way your body is given enough time to cool down. Drink plenty of water before and after your sauna session.
Please bring clothing that is suitable for your sauna session; robes, towels and water will be provided. We do ask you to use your inner voice while in the sauna so not to disturb massage sessions nearby. No jewelry or electronics are allowed in the sauna.
